Exploring number combinations is an interactive digital resource for exploring numbers up to ten. Children are encouraged to think flexibly and creatively about ways the story children can be arranged into teams for a fun game of soccer at the park. Five number sentences are provided. The final page allows children to nominate their own number sentences and ways of arranging the children. The activities help to develop: understanding of number, subitisation, recall of basic number facts up to ten, problem solving skills.
