A fun picture book for preschoolers and junior classes exploring what Matariki was in a traditional sense so it can be understood and celebrated in contemporary society. It includes plenty of new vocabulary and will encourage tamariki, kaiako and whanau to use the Māori words they already know, as well as adding new vocabulary and phrases.
