We are so delighted with our book portraying the protection of our sand dunes. There are so many Māori words in this story that we will now incorporate into our everyday programme – thank you.

I’d just like to take this opportunity to say how grateful we are for the purchases we have received. The books and the puzzles are beautiful and I’m looking forward to sharing them with both staff and students. Very much appreciated.

Looks great. I love your Matariki book and the Rongo Medicine book has inspired our Learning Through Play students to create a medicine garden alongside our other gardens and have a go at creating some balms and teas. Ka mau te wehi! We will be looking out for new titles.

I have this pukapuka and it is absolutely beautiful! If you are looking for a resource to awhi the mana of your tamariki māori, I 100% recommend ❤. I wish they had books like this when I was a child.

The Māori perspective through all the books is so awesome and we just need it so badly in books for kids in Aotearoa. The integration of te reo Māori is just perfect for someone like me, comfortable enough to read out loud, enough clues in the English and the pictures to understand but learning some new kupu in every book.

Highly recommend Abel’s books. I absolutely love my Matariki book and its gentle explanations and vocab. Illustrations are amazing. Can’t wait to add to my collection.

Abel I just wanted to feedback to you again how much I love your book I’m Māori and I’m proud. In all the years I have been teaching 14+ I have never found a resource like this that enhances māori tamaiti mana like this. As a māori kaiako and parent this just makes me so happy.
